We came across this article from a friend and wanted to make this information common knowledge as it applies to everyone out there in the driving world. We learned in drivers ed to have a situation awareness when we drive. Going down the street, if you see a ball you will most likely see a child coming after it so be aware. But what is not talked about a lot is backing out of one’s driveway and looking for kids. Last year this made the news when a singer’s son in Nashville backed over his sister ( who was 4) on his family’s way to a graduation ceremony. Heart wrenching as these accidents are, we here at AutoSpace.com want you to be made aware . Here is a great article on-line addressing this situation.

Auto-Space.com was designed by women for women. We know that women value a lot more than just horsepower and the size of the rims on a car, and that is precisely why we created auto-space.com. Too often at a dealership women are tricked into buying a car for what they think is a deal at the time, and then turns out to be a huge mistake. We created Auto-Space.com to prevent problems like this from happening. On our website, the customer is in complete control of the purchase of the car from the time they register online to the time we hand them the keys as we deliver them and their new vehicle to their doorstep.
Women and their cars: the difference between 20 and 30
As a woman, I can truthfully say, women are always changing their minds. The car a woman was pining for when she was 22 and just graduated from college, will without a doubt not be the car she wants as a 33-year-old, possibly with one or two little ones in the backseat to think about. Auto-space.com sells cars for every type of consumer. On a blog written by a woman who calls herself Autowoman, the woman blogs about what women want in a car, and what they look for every time they go to buy a car. I agree with a lot of what she says, except for the bit about how men are so much more interested in the image the car they buy portrays than women. I believe this is more of a stereotype than a truth. Yes, for men, image is the overall most important thing when it comes to their car. Men want their car to give off the image of power, wealth, and envy. They want to make heads turn when they drive by. But to say that women do not want this as well is a stretch. It is true, like experts say, that comfort, safety, practicality and value of a car are top priorities for women. How many cupholders a car has may be more important to a woman than what’s under the hood or the horsepower. However, image for many women is a high priority as well. As a 20-year-old, the car I drive says a lot about me, and the image it gives off about me is important to me. Granted this may just be a materialistic viewpoint because I live in an affluent city where image is everything, but I believe that for women my age, the look of the car is more important than the practicality. When women get older though, like Autowoman’s blog discusses, women have a different set of priorities, especially if when buying a car, they have others to think about, such as children. She lists the top 10 vehicles for women and then some, (age demographic around 30-years-old and above), and has the overall best vehicle for those women being the Honda Fit.
